Zari Hassan has shared her thoughts on the s3x scandal involving Equatorial Guinea’s Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) Baltsar Ebang Engonga.
Taking to her Insta stories, the mother of five said there is a very thin line between Engonga and other men including hers, Shakib Cham.
Zari noted that all men are the same is just that the others have not been caught and that they don’t record themselves during the act.
“The only difference between your man and mine and the Equatorial Guinea guy is that ours have not been caught and don’t record themselves but these shreks/chimpanzees are all the same,” she said.
Engonga has been trending across borders after investigators pursuing him discovered about 400 s3x tapes of him with wives and daughters of government officials and generals of Equatorial Guinea.
He has since been dismissed from office by the country’s president over misconduct and family and social behaviour deemed unfit for a public office.
Engonga’s case has attracted criticism with First lady Constancia Mangue Obiang calling for government’s intervention to uphold the dignity of Guinean women and protect their privacy in the digital age.
The Prime Minister Osa Nsue on the other hand said the government is contemplating stricter privacy laws as it grapples with the scandal’s impact on the nation’s public image and gender equality initiatives.
“The Government of Equatorial Guinea, aware of the impact of social media-and the growing presence of private content on digital platforms, is also considering strengthening laws related to privacy and personal data protection to prevent further violations of citizens’ rights.
“The case of Baltasar Ebang Engonga has sparked a broader discussion on the boundaries of privacy in the digital age and the role of institutions in protecting individuals’ fundamental rights. In this regard, the government emphasised the need for a comprehensive approach combining legislation, education, and social awareness to curb the proliferation of inappropriate online content,” he said in a statement.
