Comedian YY has shared an incident that saw him become financially disciplined.

Speaking to Plug TV, YY said that a few years ago he wasted Kshs450,000 on a woman who didn’t love him.

According to him, he used the money on vacations to different towns within the country and it was all finished within four days. The woman in question dumped him as well.

“Kitambo, wakati nilishika cheki ya kwanza ya karibu Kshs450,000, miaka kadhaa ilipita ndio nimewahi haribu pesa. Nilienda nazo vacation nilikula. Nilikuwa natoka Nakuru after hapo  in transit ushabook mpaka Eldoret  hata hapo kwa Airport unarudi tu unacheck in unachukuwa ticket yako unarudi Eldoret. Ukitoka Eldoret unahire gari unakuja Nakuru unajimbamba, msichana tunatesa mapicha online anaheartbreak machali zake huko juu aliwaacha  juu alijua kijana ako na pesa kumbe kijana ako na 450k pekee yake. 450 ikizama hivi pia yeye anaenda,” the father of one narrated.

Asked on how many days the money lasted, YY said,” aai unasema masiku 450 ukitoka hapa uende Mombasa ukae  by the time unatoka Mombasa unatoka huko na 170k. Ukienda Eldoret at least life ni cheap hakuna beach  at least life ni affordable unaezapata hata mahali pa kulala pa elfu tano. Ukitoka ukienda Nakuru aah unafika Nairobi 17,000,”

YY however learnt that the woman he was spending money on didn’t love him and was speaking negatively about him in his absence. The encounter taught him a lesson and he embarked on a financial discipline journey. He also decided to prioritize his mother when it comes to money.

“Macho yangu yalikuja yakafunguka. Nikajiuliza  haya maisha naishi nafurahisha mwanamke mwingine ambaye sijui kama ananipenda  kwasababu kuna wakati nilikuwa naskia anasema vitu kunihusu, unaambiwa eeh nani unampenda lakini mambo anasema mambo kama haya kukuhusu. Sasa unakaa chini unajiuliza kama huyu ni mtu ambaye hanipendi wakati anakaa chini  na watu anazungumza mambo negative kunihusu na namprioritize, mbona nisiprioritize mama yangu,” he said.

At the same time he also addressed his relationship with Millicent Omanga. Netizens suspected that something was going on  between the two of them after Omanga said that she was waiting for his call.

“YY Comedian bado nangoja your call. Guys watch Dinga ya wife episode 6 on YouTube. Episode 6 is our na ni fire zaidi ya fire promote local our own,” she wrote online.

YY however said that Omanga might feature in his show, Dinga ya wife and further asked Kenyans to be mature in their thinking.

“Ni vile watu wnaataka akuwe kwa kipindi. Ni vile hakuwa around tutaongea tuone kama anawezaingia. Hapana bwana, nyinyi pia wakenya. Wakenya wanafaa waanze kuw awatu wazima. Hio ni kitu hata siwezi comment on. Hao watu wandeserve mimin hata kuwajibu?Waendelee kuwa na hio mawazo finyu,” he said.
