Thicky Sandra, daughter of former Nairobi County governor Mike Mbuvi sonko, was among many celebrities and famous people in the country, who witnessed the match between Harambee stars and South Sudan.
The international friendly football match was held at the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani Nairobi Kenya on Tuesday, coming just days after Harambee Stars victorious win over Qatar.
The Stars however lost to South Sudan with scores reading 1-0.
The disappointing loss sparked reactions among many Kenyans including Thicky Sandra. Sonko’s daughter said that she was disappointed but watching the game was fun.
“Yeah it was fun, yeah but I am disappointed like guys you could do better next time. Like you know but i mean practice makes it perfect right,” said Sandra in an interview.
Sandra had high expectation that Harambee Stars would win after performing well in Qatar.
“I thought we were gonna win….but it is what it is, tutado,” she added
In addition to that, Sandra said that just like other celebrities who showed up for the match, she is going to continue turning up and showing support for Kenya’s team.
