Controversial lawmaker Peter Salasya has announced that he will no longer be pursuing renown socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe.
The Mumias East MP said that he no longer desires to be with Huddah because she might pose a threat to him, because people of her kind are only after money.
He has now reverted to pursuing village women, who are commonly referred to as Vienyeji.
“Hawa wenye hukulwa na pesa mimi siwezani wataangusha serikali. Afadhali nirudi kwa vienyeji wangu wa kawaida. I officially disassociate myself from this chick,” he wrote on social media.
Salasya went on to apologize to vienyejis over comments that he made that might have hurt them, saying it was all for social media.
“Forgive me. Nyinyi ndio mnawezana na mimi huyu anataka watu wa wash wash ndio wako na pesa ya kuharibu,” he said.
Salasya has been pursuing Huddah online for about two months now. A few weeks ago, when Salasya expressed interest of meeting her in person, Huddah responded with tough conditions.
The Rich Beauty CEO said that Salasya must be prepared to spend lots of money on her, including taking her to a 5-star restaurant. She said that the MP must prepare her a presidential suite filled with orange roses which are her favourite.
Additionally, she said that Salasya must be prepared to part with about Kshs3,870,000 as a greeting fee.
“I also don’t want any isukuti dance at the airport. I value my privacy. My meetings are usually at JW Marriott. The presidential suite… filled with orange roses. And $30,000 for greetings, or I won’t speak the entire time. Someone tell this Gen Z guy to ensure that the organizers wish him all the best,” she said.
This didn’t deter Salasya from pursuing his interest until just recently.
