Musician Akothee has come out to explain why she wants to be buried in her wedding dress which cost her about Kshs700,000.

The artist delved into the matter while at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where she had gone to receive her fiancé Mister Denis Omosh.

She first opened up on her relationship with Omosh, saying that he is a man that every woman would dream to have. According to her, she met Omosh when she had lost hope in love.

“Every time I think about Omosh being in my life, it gets emotional because he found me at a point where I had given up on love and I just thought that for me love is not something for me because I am a giver. I have a lot of love that I give  and so If I didn’t get a guy who can give me the same I always feel empty and even until now, I sometimes wake up at night and ask myself is it true that he really loves me and wants to be with me, but his actions .. he is a dream that every woman would want to have,” she explained.

Due to that, Akothee feels that they will never separate and that is why she asked to be buried in the expensive attire.

“The reason why I say I would to be buried in my wedding dress is because I don’t see myself breaking up with him anytime soon. I pray for my marriage to stay. I want to give him the best, I want to continue loving him, respect him, submit to him like I have always done,” Akothee added.

The bride-to-be  flew to Switzerland herself to find her dream wedding dress after failing to get one in the country.
