Bishop Harrison Ng’ang’a of the Christian Fellowship Founfation Church has urged couples to stop calling each other ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’ arguing that this contributes to partners seeking extramarital affairs.
He reasoned that when you are already seen as both a parent and a lover, your partner might start looking elsewhere. In his undated sermon, he further posed the question, ” If you call your partner mummy or daddy, what will your children call you?
The bishop further stated that if you call your husband daddy or you call your wife mummy, you will be forced to bring a mother or a father to your children since you have taken the titles that they should be addressing their parents with.

In february, the bishop warned women against marrying broke men.
“Kama your husband, hana pesa. Usianze kuambia watu eti ‘Mungu alinipea mume’. Ngoja kwanza apate pesa kwanza ndio ujue kama ni your husband ama ni was community ya kwenu. Hawa wazee hawana pesa na wana waist ya 28, wachana nao,” Ng’ang’a stated.
Archbishop Ng’ang’a preaches on Faith TV Kenya, where he leads Sunday services in Kiswahili. Some say they’ve learned a lot from his teachings and feel enlightened and uplifted after listening to them. Others say they love his teachings and funny testimonies.
