During an emotional memorial service held at the Faith Evangelistic Ministries Church in Karen on July 15th, President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto offered heartfelt tributes to the late Bishop Allan Kiuna.
Bishop Kiuna, a man whose impact on the church and community was profound, was honoured throughout the service.
Bishop Kiuna was a visionary and devoted man of God, and Rachel Ruto mourned his passing. She expressed her loss and her appreciation for his life while pointing out all of his accomplishments.
“I am deeply saddened that we lost a great man. We truly celebrate Bishop Allan Kiuna, who was a devoted and loving husband, a cherished father, a caring brother, a dear friend, a spiritual father, the visionary founder and general overseer of JCC, and a committed community member,” Rachel expressed.

Her condolences went out to Kathy Kiuna, as well as to their children and their grandkids. In addition, Rachel expressed her condolences to the JCC family, acknowledging the significant loss of their spiritual leader.

Rachel Ruto remembered Bishop Kiuna’s commitment, despite his health problems. She respected his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his responsibilities, which he consistently accomplished with grace and humility.
Rachel emphasized Bishop Kiuna’s major contributions to the nation and his participation in the body of Christ, pointing out that his influence would live on forever.
In his condolence speech, President William Ruto also expressed his sadness and the significant influence Bishop Kiuna had on both his life and the lives of many others.
