A video of ‘Mali Safi Chito’ hit maker begging Ruto to give her a job has resurfaced online, attracting attention of netizens.

In the video, Millicent Jepkorir is seen crying asking President Ruto to give her a job to serve in the government despite her not holding any qualifications.

She assures Ruto that she will not let him down as she will do her best not to disappoint him.

“I will never let you down, Ruto; mention me in your government. I will shock the world. I don’t have a CV or a politician to lobby for me. Please, be my savior. Just mention me in your government. Those with certificates won’t believe it. Their degrees, diplomas and PhDs will be useless. Just mention me in your government Ruto, and you will never regret it, I will shock you, I will shock the world”, she said in the video.

The singer has risen to stardom after releasing the song ‘Mali Safi chito’ that has earned 1.5 million views in the past three weeks.

Many celebrate her for her inspiring story of the past heart wrecking experiences she endured.

In an interview with VJ mastermind ,the singer revealed that she got married at the age of 16 as a way of escaping the glaring poverty at her home at the time and after five years the husband dumped her.

She said that no matter the many challenges she faced, she triumphed and decided to focus on her singing career and pursue her dreams.
