Comedian-turned humanitarian activist Eric Omondi is celebrating his 42nd birthday.
In a birthday message he shared on Instagram, Eric said he feels wise and so young, thanks to the phrase, ‘life begins at 40.’
The father of two added that he was grateful for the opportunity to change people’s lives, and further expressed gratitude to all those who have shown him support.
“I woke up feeling all WISE…Kumbe nikuzeeka😂😂😂😂. It is true that life Begins at 40 because it’s only at 40 that I started Living. This is my second year ” alive” No wonder I feel soo young. I THANK GOD for life, I thank God for every OPPORTUNITY to serve and LIFT his PEOPLE. I thank God for Everyone and Everything in my Life. I THANK GOD. THANK YOU guys for all the Support and LOVE. I don’t take anything for Granted. God Bless you for me as I CELEBRATE my BIRTHDAY Today,” he wrote.
His fiancee, Lynne Njihia, also joined in the celebrations, saying that he is a blessing to their family as well as other people, whose lives he had touched.

You are a Blessing,not only to our beautiful family that we created together but to the people’s lives you’ve touched. You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. In the spirit of his humanitarian works, Eric has however demanded a unique birthday gift, asking his followers to help him get it.
The birthday gift he is requesting for is to find a motorist whose video has gone viral this Saturday.
“Yaani hata siezi Celebrate Birthday kwa Amani. Munisaidie kupata huyu tumuinue kama Birthday gift to me and from me. Munisaidie kumpata please,” he said.
The man in question was handcuffed by county council officers inside his truck in Muthurwa. In the video, he couldn’t hold back his tears as he narrated his predicament.
