Singer Nimo Gachuiri has expressed displeasure over recent remarks by her husband Mr Seed terming them insensitive.
During a podcast, Mr Seed said that men are clever and would date a woman for even three years but not end up marrying her because she doesn’t have the qualities he wants in a wife. He also said that men are naturally polygamous.
“Let me tell you, we men we have brains. I can be with you in a relationship for like 3 years do you understand? Just three years of me looking at you knowing very well you don’t have what I want
“So niko hapo and then one day you wake up and find the nig** has already organised a wedding because this girl has already assumed she was a trophy. We have other female friends right? Among those friends, we check among them to see who is wife material. Maybe it’s even your best friend,” Mr Seed confidently said. “Men wamecreatiwa kuwa polygamous.”

This did not please Nimo such that she confronted him both offline and online.
“So I saw the snippet of the podcast done by Mr Seed, him saying whatever he was saying. I didn’t even finish watching it. I was pissed off. So I turned to him and asked, hizi sasa ni nini unasema surely. Next thing I said people must really think I am stupid! So he was like you should watch the whole podcast ati they picked only that part so it could trend,” she wrote on her Insta stories.
“What I want to say is whether it was for clout, it was an insensitive thing to say when you are clearly in a committed relationship,” she further said.
She went ahead to even unfollow him on Instagram.
Netizens also did not spare her and went after her saying, “Umeona bwana yako amesema men are polygamous. Enyewe no wonder anapata watoto huku nje kaa panya.”
Responding to the comment, Nimo wondered why the social media user would attack her for something she didn’t say in her own page.
“I don’t know why when people have nothing on you they think attacking you using someone else will sting. Clearly shows you peacefully existing is a problem. Only sharing this here because coz I just want to say everyone else chooses the life they want to live,” she added.
