Sensational song writer and musician Nadia Mukami has celebrated her incredible weight loss journey.
Nadia tremendously added weight after conceiving and giving birth to her son a year ago.
Taking to her Instagram, the elated mother of one shared a video of herself dancing and vibing to her music, updating her fans on her current weight. She revealed that she is currently at 59 kgs down from the 70 kgs she weighed shortly after the delivery of her baby.
Nadia said she had been trolled about her weight, something that impacted her self esteem.
“Finally losing my baby weight and now I am starting to be confident in myself!! Finally at 59 kgs from 70kgs. Trolls were on my neck! Mcheeew!!” she said.
The Lola and Safari founder also hinted at starting a lucrative business of selling weight loss products but she didn’t go into details. Nadia Mukami also talked about her upcoming music project.
“Oyah prepare your coins slimming tea inasija. For now my brand new song Mi Nawe off the love and vibes EP drops on Friday” she added.
Her fans took to the comment section to congratulate her on her milestone.
Mukami is not the only female musician who has been trolled for naturally gaining weight after giving birth. Nameless wife Wahu was also attacked viciously on social media when she became ‘thicker’ after delivering her last born daughter. The mother of three was shocked why Kenyans were so concerned with her weight.
“So yesterday I posted a picture of myself during the first joint committee meeting under the Talanta Hela initiative, saying how excited I was about where we’re going….but, what took precedence on that is the amount of weight that I’ve gained,” Wahu wrote.
