Azeezah Hashim has revealed how waking up early almost took a toll on her on her new job as a radio host at Hot 96.
Azeezah admitted to having a hard time transitioning from her normal schedule of waking up around 11pm and 12pm for her show which runs from 10am – 1pm revealing that it wasn’t easy .
“10-1pm lakini na struggle Kuamka Kiasi Kiasi juu nilikuwa nimesahau kuamka ,” she said jokingly.
She added that she was very nervous because everyone was listening to her on the first day, admitting that she is also human and as much as she has done radio before it’s normal to feel nervous .
A few months ago she was picked to replace Willis Raburu on 10 over 10. She was poached from NTV’s Teen Republik. She also used to host a radio show at NRG Radio.
Azeezah said that radio is her first love, admitting that it’s a huge responsibility to be given her own show but she is excited regardless.
” It’s been months away from radio ,nimemiss radio coz radio is my first love even before tv so number 1 to get my own show wao kuniaminia kufanya show yangu pekee yangu it’s a huge responsibility as well Niko excited sana ,” she said.
Lately Azeezah has had various successful achievements. Apart from her new radio job she also got signed at Kaka Empire.
Musician King Kaka posted on his social media page announcing that Azeezah is their new member.
”She’s here!!!! WE ARE THRILLED To announce the newest addition to the Kaka Empire Team! – the phenomenal, media and events maven @azeezah_h Welcome to the family Azeezah Super excited to have you on board!,” hee wrote.
Azeezah Hashim, known for her charismatic presence on the TV show is expected to bring fresh dynamic input to m Kaka Empire’s creative endeavours.
