Rapper Stevo Simple Boy is said to have returned to Kibra slums after being kicked out of his house in Buruburu.
According to his immediate former manager Chingi Boy Mstado, the rapper was evicted from the Buruburu by his brother who have now taken over the house.
Stevo relocated to the one-bedroomed house in Buruburu in July last with the help of Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, who paid his rent for the first three months. This is after his estranged wife Grace Atieno revealed to the media that he was suffering and sinking in poverty, while all his money was being handled by his then management Men In Black.
“His family is fighting me, and I was only trying to help their boy. Now, they have returned him to Kibra. Stivo is not talking, just smiling,” Chingi Boy told a local media outlet.
“He was removed from the house, and his brother is the one living there, yet I am the one paying. I was the one who took him to Buruburu. After connecting him with Salasya, I advised him not to give him money but to buy the house items and give them to him. Salasya only paid the deposit and rent,” he further revealed.
Chingi Boy says that he has since advised the caretaker to issue a vacation notice to Stevo’s brother.
The recent occurrence comes just weeks after Stevo fainted on a national television due to stress that resulted from splitting with his manager Chingi Boy. Stevo begged Chingi Boy to return so that they could work together but he has been adamant about his decision to quit.
“Kusaidia mtu hataki kujisaidia pia ni ngumu. Utasaidia mtu ukiumia yeye ako tu sawa. Napigwa vita na familia na bibi ya mtu aah nimechoka kukanyaga mwiba, uchungu umezidi, nina quit ndio manake,” he shared on Instagram last Friday.
