Popular Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has announced that he is now a saved man.
The rapper said that his salvation was motivated by listening to Bunny Asila’s song where he featured long-time gospel singer from Tanzania Christina Shusho.
Stevo, through his Instagram uploaded a video listening to the track and acknowledged the lyrics as humbling praises before God. He also said that the song was a blessing to him.
The “Mihadarati” hitmaker even requested for a collaboration in the remix of the gospel song.
“Hii ngoma ya Nakuja ya Bunny asila akishiRIkisha @christinashush imenigusaaa sàaaaana 🥺 ningeomba wanipa vesi tuipige RMX ndugu yangu @asilabunn ukiona huu ujumbe kuja tuongee @officialchristi pia ameua”

Recently the singer boasted that the songs he sang were different as compared to those of other artists since he puts out tunes that are inspiring, motivating and give life lessons. He however has not definitively singled out himself as a secular or gospel singer.
Mostly Stivo has collaborated with other secular artists who noticeably use strong and derogatory language in their tracks. He has since said that they is no need for an artist to use the aforementioned language in order to be popular.
