Kenyan RnB artist Ethan Edwards Okoth porpularly known as Ethan Muziki has stunned fans as he changed his stage name transitioning to Kethan.
Ethan Muziki is known for his hit songs like, “wimbo wetu, Kesho Kutwa,Sweet Matunda,” and others.
He has also collaborated with other talented Kenyan Artists like Kinoti, Bridgit Blue and many more.
Ethan Muziki announcing on his instagram page posted a statement explaining his major transition saying that the name Kethan represents a deeper part of who he is as an artist.
“I have always cherished being known as Ethan, but i hav come to realize that having a name that’s uniquely mine will be beneficial.” The statement read in part.
Ethan now Kethan said that as someone who is always constantly evolving and creating music that resonates with authenticity the change is about embracing his uniqueness.
The artist concluded by thanking his fans Ethanals for their support and encouragement throughout his journey.
“Your love for my music has inspired me beyond words, and i am endlessly grateful for each connection we’ve made and i ask for your support through this transition as well.” He wrote in the statement.

The two singers had earlier announced that they would be together performing at a venue on the second floor of the Sarit Centre mall in Westlands, Nairobi to a rousing response by fans.
However, neither Kinoti nor Ethan expected the kind of massive crowd they pulled – in fact, things got so thick that the Sarit Centre management had to abruptly pull the plug on the show, while it was still midway.
