Congregants of Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s church were left in shock after a Mama Mboga showed up at the premises with bundled of cash in notes amounting to Kshs 6 million.

The woman revealed that she travelled all the way from Nairobi to Kilifi to seek help from the man of God.

While sharing her troubles, the woman said that the money was brought to her by CID officers, who are friends with her son, at her working place in Bama, Jogoo Road.

What left her unsettled is that they gave her the money and left with her son. She however couldn’t use the money without knowing why she it was given to her and she decided to seek for help from Pastor Ezekiel.

“Sijui nilie, sijui niseme nini.m Pastor mimi nililetewa pesa, dollar za kutoka nchi za nje  na zilikuwa kwa gari la kijana yangu. Nilikuwa nauza mboga. Mwishowe CID wakakuja, rafiki ya huyo kijana yangu, wakaenda kwa bank wakabadilisha pesa, millioni 10. Wakakuja mahali nauzia mboga wakaniambia madhe si tumekuachia hii milioni 6 wakaenda na kijana yangu,” she said.

The woman said that she was wary of going back to the house with the money and she decided to look for Pastor Ezekiel.

“I said I wouldn’t use the money before I get to Pastor Ezekiel because I don’t know if the money is real, I don’t know if they killed someone.I don’t know if they exchanged the money for my son, and maybe I will use it to bury him” she said.

She further said that the police officer left with the other Kshs4 million.

Pastor Ezekiel checked the money and confirmed that it was actually money.

“This is what we are going to do. I will keep the money safe for you. Go and look for your son, know his location and health status. if questioned, speak the truth—what the CIDs told you and how the whole process began and ended,” the preacher said.
