Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has hit back at Obinna over his sentiments condemning a young woman, who was captured pushing a pushing a police officer during anti-Finance Bill demonstrations.
In a video, an angry Salasya attacked Obinna saying the young generation is bitter and that they want someone to listen to them.
According to him, they have been doing Obinna a favor by appearing in his to promote the young generation, but he was now fighting them
” Wewe wacha hawa young people wana demonstrate huko mambo yao wewe ulishapata, hao hawajapata,” the controversial lawmaker said.
The MP went on to warn him that people will boycott his Obinna Live show if he is not careful, demanding that he leaves the agitated protestors alone.
” Ule mschana ako bitter, wewe unanunulianga wasichana pad? …hapa hawana capacity ya kutoa pads, pads zenye zinakuja zinawekewa tax na wana express. Yule mschana unajua bitterness ya kupata pad! wewe umewahi enda kwa mwezi? the MP questioned.
Salasya reiterated that the young protestors are practising their constitutional right. He vowed never attend Obinna show again.
“So when you see young girls wanaenda wanajitoa for the first time in history, the young girls they are demonstrating their rights. Na wewe Obinna ati unaambia ati ooh respect, wao wenye wanapigwa na askari wewe unakuanga pale? Obinna watahama kwa hiyo show yako ya Obinna! Na mimi hata sitawai kuja kwa hiyo show ya Obinna… I will never come there kwa sababu umeanza kuwa mjinga. Leave alone those young people they are hopeless. They want somebody to listen to them, we tried in the parliament nobody listens to them. Obinna am bitter of you!!!” he said.

Oga Obinna had earlier shared a video of a lady pushing a police officer by chest during demonstrations. He said the move is a stupid one.
“So you see like that video that I’ve just shared, now that’s a stupid move, okay guys, I understand we’re angry, we’re agitated but let’s not do that…as much as we are rejecting the finance bill let us respect each other, let’s have boundaries,” Obinna stated.
