Popular female rapper Sylvia Ssaru launched her EP on Thursday evening in a start studded event.

Among who came to support her is Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o among other musicians.

While speaking to the media, Ssaru said that she was even surprised that the MP arrived earlier than her.

“I don’t think we have ever met and talked properly but I just sent him a message and he didn’t delay, he asked for details, location and time and we will pull up,. I was even surprised that he arrived before me,” she said.

Sssaru was also asked if her recent song kugongewa was inspired by a personal experience. The artist admitted that she has been through the experience multiple times but she also revenged. ‘Kugongewa’ is a common term, which means when someone else having a romantic affair with one’s partner.

“Si mara moja. Nilibalance na kugongeana,” she said.

At the same time, she denied claims that she has something going on between her and Trio Mio. The claims emerged from the Behind The Scenes of their music video.

“Hakuna kitu,  but you gonna enjoy today’s show,” she said.
