NRG Radio presenter Natalie Githinji is mourning the death of her beloved pet cat known as Mimi.

Mimi, who died on January 17 2024, has been Natalie’s companion since February 2022. It is not clear how the cat died but she insinuated that he was killed.

The radio girl admits that Mimi was a great help especially after her surgeries and when she was going through endometriosis.

“I’m grieving but bado nafanya kazi si aty sasa sina uwezo…😅😅😅 but mahn I’m so hurt….walai ata nitashindwa kubuy another animal….😭😭😭😭 hurts so bad. R.I.P Mimi, I love you so bad mahn. He was always there for me especially after my surgeries and when endometriosis ilikua inaniweza….animals are honestly the best, they deserve everything. I pray Mimi goes to heaven.

“He died this year….2024 not 2023 🤣🤣 understand niko na stress ya mtoto wangu…sijui nitamzika na pesa gani…he told me anataka a purple coffin na sina uwezo ….wah..PUMZIKA PEMA PEPONI,” she shared on Instagram.

In a separate post, Natalie asked for privacy during the mourning period. She also urged bloggers not to write any negatives stories about her cat.

“We kindly request that you give us the privacy we deserve as a family in this hard time. Allow us to mourn mwenda zake Bwana Paka Mimi in peace…🙏🙏 Bloggers please don’t write anything negative about Mimi, let the past remain in the past….🙏🙏😭😭😭 Let Him rest, its all he would have wanted walai.,” Natalie said.

She went on to share a till number where well wisher can drop their contributions so that Mimi can be laid to rest.

Natalie however said that the maximum contribution per person should be Kshs20 only.
