Singer Otile Brown has called out Tanzanian artists Diamond Platnumz and Mbosso for wearing fake jewellery.
This is after the duo were spotted testing the quality of their jewellery in a video that was shared on Mbosso’s Instagram account.
Taking to his Insta stories, Otile Brown slammed them asking them to reduce wearing mabati or better known as iron sheets in English.
According to him, what they wear only lasts a few months as they rust easily.
“With love, punguzeni mabati kwenye shingo or keep quite, mnachoresha…hao ni watu gani mnanunua chain kwao? Tuelewane. Y’all be talking rich all the time and still rocking fungazi. Inspire game ujanja ujanja wa nini and y’all are blessed chain baada ya miezi kadhaa huoni imeshika kutu,” he said.

He went ahead to recommend legitimate jewellery stores as; jewellery unlimited, Ice Box, Johnny dang and A jeweller.
Otile’s attack on the bongo singers comes a year after he met rapper Lil Baby at Icebox, as he was shopping for jewellery. He got himself a diamond coated pendant with his late grandmother’s picture.
Netizens however had something to say about his attack on Mbosso and Diamond.
” Kijana alienda Icebox window shopping anaanza kuona chains za wengine kama ni mabati.”
“”Wengine mnacomment na hua mnavaa viatu hazina majina. ”
“Otile just say its your first time you buy real sh*** and you want to be noticed.”
“Otile used to be quiet, nowadays lazima aboshane sosho media.”
” Otile skuizi mziki imekua ngumu mpaka ameamua kuwa blogger, i thought hii mambo yukua ya akina pozee, KRG na ringtone, heri nistick tu basi kwa Nyashinski basi. Sa wakivaa mabati, we ndio zinakata ama ni hao.”
“Huyu sio Otile nilikua namjua mimi. Someone is managing Otile brown’s account, let ms assume so, juu jamaa skuizi anaongea, utathani anaka jaba.”
