Kenyan Musician Esther Akoth Popularly known as Akothee has warned people from calling her to know more about the situation she is going through.

On Sunday evening the mother of five ,who is forty three years old revealed news that came as shocking when she announced that in the past few months she has been through a rough patch which has had a profound consequence on her daily life.

She bashed those she claimed were calling her to check how she was doing pegging them as pretenders who only want privy information from her.

“It’s disrespectful to call me based on my status online. For sure you are not calling or reaching out because you care. You are calling because you want first hand information. stop the bullshit. By the time am publishing my shit, just know I have just know I have battle it offline and it’s off my chest. And if I don’t call you in private, don’t console me in private. Baki uko kwa fan page wait for news like everyone you are not special. Pretenders ndio sitaki kwa life i am doing well, I don’t need to talk to you,” she wrote on  her instagram

In her earlier statement she revealed that she has been seeing a professional for two months following her mental breakdown in an effort to restore her mental well being.

She also confessed that she had received certain information that caused her to fall into a whirlwind of thoughts that has been messing up her personal life.

She thanked all the people who stood by her through the hard time in her road to recovery. She especially thanked Nelly Oaks her former lover whom she said called constantly to ensure she was fine. She admitted that her daughter followed her abroad on fears that she may lose her life.

Many have however concluded that her husband Omosh is at the centre of Akothee’s break down.
