Singer Akothee walked down the aisle on Monday April 10 and majority of those who were invited to the event are celebrities and prominent people in the country.
Some of the celebrities showed up with their better halves as others attended alone but what stood out was the kind of attire they chose to wear for the wedding.
Akothee had made it clear that her guests should be elegant with a touch of gold and advised them to completely avoid donning white outfits. Here are of the best dressed celebrities.
Karen Nyamu
The youth president and senator showed up for the event in a pink dress and a matching flower on her hair. She completed the look with a pair of white open heels and dark sun glasses. In her hands, she carried a white purse.
Nyamu said was grateful to have been invited adding she is never invited to such events.
Diana Marua and Bahati
Bahati was dressed in a stripped suit and black footwear. Diana, on the other hand, donned a shiny dress with a thigh high slit. She completed the look with red shoes and purse.
Lilian Muli
Muli wore a long emerald green dress with a touch of brown. She donned white strapped heels.

The former Citizen TV news anchor was dressed in a baby pink jumpsuit, dark sun glasses and brown shoes.
Alex Mwakideu and his wife
Mwakideu donned a velvet maroon coat, a stripped shirt and a rugged jeans. His wife Mariam Mbela was dressed in royal blue dress with a shiny top.
Jalang’o and his wife Amina Chao
Jalang’o was in charge of driving Akothee to her wedding venue before she rode a chariot. The Lang’ata MP was dressed in a white Kaftan with a touch of gold. His wife Amina Chao wore a long orange satin dress with a matching head gear. She carried a green and cream flowers in her hands.
