Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Mochogu has released the results of the 2022,Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) with the leading student having scored 431 marks.

 1,244,188 Standard Eight pupils sat the exams which were done between November 28 and November 30.

During the release Education CS Ezekiel Mochogu revealed that a a good number of pupils (50.2 per cent) scored between 200 and 299 marks out of 500

9,443 candidates scored above400 marks an equivalent of 0.01% of the total candidature,307,756 candidates scored between 300 and 399 marks, an equivalent of 24.94 per cent.

296,336 candidates (24.4%) scored 100 to 199 marks while 724 candidates scored below 100 marks, which is 0.06% of the class.
