Kapseret MP Oscar sudi criticized those who burned and looted his club Timba XO in Eldoret during protests stating that 220 employees had to loose their job.
The nightclub Timba XO, located on the Eldoret-Nairobi route, was the target of enraged demonstrators demanding the withdrawal of the 2024 Finance Bill.
On a recent video,Sudi stated that his club Timba was not only a club but there were other business around like carwash, car service place and a hotel.
“Finance bill inaingilia wapi na biashara ya watu?watu wengi wakinigashifu nilikua naona mwingine anasema tunataka tukuje tuchome nyumba ya Sudi ,mimi nilipigia wale najua, wale walichochea hao watoto wetu nikaambia hawa, kuja uchome hii nyumba ya Sudi ndio hio kitu iko kwa roho yako itoke na ufurahi ,kwasababu surely pale kwangu Timba, sio watu wanasema tu ni club.pale kuna maduka, kuna carwash ,kuna pale pakufanya service magari na kuna hoteli .tumepoteza wafanyakazi walikua wanafanya kazi pale 220 “Sudi said
Sudi added that he won’t be stopped because of someone’s stupidity and happiness of burning club Timba.
“Kwasababu ya ujinga na furaha yako kusema lazima tuchome Timba ndio hii jamaa ,sasa mimi ukichoma Timba unafikiri utanikata mkono?unafikri utanisimamisha mimi Sudi?mimi niko na historia na mi naongea.”

In a previous video posted on his Instagram page, Sudi highlighted that he had been singled out for personal targeting while expressing his deep disappointment with Tuesday night’s events when his club got burnt.
“What transpired on Tuesday, which followed an otherwise peaceful protest by Gen Z, is unfortunate,” started the 44 year-old politician.
Visibly upset in the video, Sudi hinted that his rivals’ deliberately destroying at Timba XO was an attempt to harm him directly and disrupt his business.
