Gospel singer Nicah the Queen has announced that she has parted ways with her longterm boyfriend DJ Slahver.
The mother of two took to Instagram to announce the information leaving fans with mixed reactions.
In her post, she said that they arrived the decision of partying ways after much considerations.
“After so much considerations, Slahver and I have decided to go our separate ways. Thank you so much for the love you all accorded us,” Nicah said.
“It is what it is,” she added.
While Nicah has publicised their split, Slahver on the other hand, is yet to share anything regarding the matter.
A section of Nicah’s fans are however unconvinced that they have truly broken up, considering that she is one of the people who love chasing clout.
Nicah introduced Slahver to her fans in October 2021 after dating for a while in private. Slahver a known name in the entertainment industry having worked with the likes of Nameless and Wahu.
This however not the first time that they are separating. They were in a similar situation in April 2022, just four months after Nicah accepted Slaver’s marriage proposal.
“Slahver and I have decided to call it quits and go our separate ways! People can fall in love and they can also fall out. All In all, we move on regardless! I wish him nothing but the best,” Nicah said in her statement.
The breakup however lasted only a week and a few days as they set aside their differences and continued dating.
“Love is a beautiful thing and it comes in different series. As a young couple, we agree to disagree at some point in our daily life ‘cos we are in a stage of knowing and learning each other better. So guys it was not clout or anything related to attention-seeking, we had separated for nine days. Thanks to everyone who prayed and wished us well during our breakup. What God has put together,” they said in a joint statement.

Ofweneke and Nicah parted ways in 2016. They share two daughters and have been co-parenting successfully. Ofweneke since moved on and is married to another woman.
