Teenage rapper Trio Mio has denied claims of being in a  relationship.

The rap sensation revealed that he is currently single but Kenyans have been giving him girlfriends on social media every week.

Trio Mio added that he has never introduced any woman as his girlfriend.

“Mtandao siku hizi mshaanza kunipatia madem kila wiki nashangaa rada ni gani. Sijawahiingia hivi kwa social media nikaintroduce…nikasema ndio huyu [dem] wangu,” he said in an interview.

According to him, his focus is currently on music. Trio Mio further noted that he will lose focus if he gets involved in  romantic relations.

“Right now Trio Mio is not dating. I am dating music, music is bae for life. Right now I am on focusing on music. I have so many female friends, we are so close like bestie bestie, right now I am focusing on music, if I start focusing on a separate base, I will lose focus. Mi najijua, nikiwaga nimefall, nimefall very bad,” he said.

At the same time, he responded to claims that he no longer has content since finishing high school and that his musical star had started to dim.

“Naskia wakisema nyota yangu inadim, ati huyu boy content iliisha after amalize high school. Y’all don’t know me, when I speak, just shut up, you are not ready for the boy. Si ati content imeisha ama nini, I am so ready, I am working on my album and after album imetoka mtajua ni kwa nini huyu boy hatoi mangoma sana sana.
