Actress Dorea Chege and her husband DJ Dibul have addressed rumours of expecting their first child.
The rumours surfaced recently after the couple shared a video, where Dorea’s belly seemed to be unusually big. This saw her receive a lot of congratulations, leaving her confused.
“Someone tell me hizi congratulations ni za nini? Am confused,” she wondered.

In an phone interview with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray, the couple however said that they are not expecting a child and once they do, fans will be informed.
“Nani kampatia bibi yangu mimba na sijui? Bado, ile siku tutakuwa tayari ama ile siku nitafunga bao lazima nitawaambia,” DJ Dibul said.
He however said that they were in the process of getting their first child but they were yet to conceive. He also noted that his wife has never been pregnant before, dispelling claims that she terminated a previous pregnancy.
“Bibi yangu ameshiba kidogo watu wanaanza kusema ako na mimba, tena ametoa mimba mara nyingi kutoka last year, this year tena…” he said.
Dibul also said that he will be very proud once he gets his wife pregnant.
“I will announce everywhere, people must know,” he said.
Dorea on the other hand also confirmed that she wasn’t expecting a child.
“Where do you get things. We are yet to get pregnant. When it happens we will let you know,” she said.
