Digital journalist Mungai Eve and her boyfriend director Trevor began the new year by sparking rumors that they are not in good terms.

This is after both of them decided to get rid of each others photos on their respective Instagram accounts.

A spot check on Mungai’s Instagram account indicates that the only photos she has with Trevor are promotional ones, where she was advertising different brands.

Trevor, on the other hand, removed everything on his account leaving behind only one of his photo that was shared on January 23, 2023.

He also raised eyebrows when he was captured at a New year’s event without Mungai’s company.

While some of the netizens believe that they are clout chasing because of their recent online activities, others are however are convinced that they have actually broken up.

“I saw this coming, na ndio mlikuwa mnajifanya, wapi makofi ya kifee,” an Instagram user told Trevor as another said, ” Hakuna picha wamedelete hawa watu hii ni clout chasing tu, venye wamefanya ni post archives unaficha picha zingine of which only you can see them.”

Others thronged Mungai’s recent posts to confirm whether the break-up rumors were true.

One fan however responded by saying “Naskia umewachwa.”

Mungai replied to the comment saying, “Jiulize ni ukweli ama ni con.”

Another Instagram user told her to leave Safaricom aside and instead tell the truth about the rumors.

“Kwanza tuconcentrate na saf,” Mungai told her and to further told another fan that next she would address the rumors.

“Coming up next,” she promised.

Mungai and Trevor’s supposed breaks comes just weeks before they mark their sixth anniversary.
