Comedian Mulamwah has come out to explain why he refused to take a selfie with TikToker Brian Chira.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, Mulamwah said that the likes of Chira are obscene and weird on social media but on ground, they pretend to be different people.

Mulamwah said that he can not associate with  the TikToker because of such behaviours.

“Mi niliona tu.. unajua hawa vijana unaezasema ni vijana wadogo because unaona umepata tuviews pale TikTok unaona we ndio kusema like you are on top of the world. Ni vijana wadogo. Mi sichukulii mistake kuwa yao. Kuna vitu weird wanafanya usiku pale TikTok halafu most of them wanathink ukifanya TikTok, kwa ground ni different. Haiwezi, kenye unafanya online instick to you. Ukitembea unatembea online yako. Online yako inaonyesha vile unatembea kwa ground so ukipata vijana pale TikTok usiku, wananyonga mpaka live, mimi hio ndio kitu ilifanya nikaona siwezi kabisaa associate na mtu kama huyu kwasababu if you can go live mko rende pale watu wako hapo wancaheer up. People who are cheering you up wanaona tu kuona but they are not there for you guys,” he said.

Mulamwah added that the young generation on TikTok need to learn so that the fame they claim to have can help them or the society. He added that he can create content with Chira once he corrects his mistakes.

“I didn’t have an issue with him my issue is; clean yourself, be respectful because me be seeing with you that is how it will paint me out there on the people whom I impact, they will be like ooh Mulamwah is okay with this. Fix your errors then you can come back we take photos, videos, create content because that is what we are here for but not for the things that fail the society,” the comedian said.

Chira has however maintained that Mulamwah is proud because he thinks he is successful.
