Netizens have in mixed reactions expressed their feelings following an Instagram video Vesha Okello, Akothee’s daughter referring to her mother as b*tch.
Some netizens argued that though they have a good relationship with her mother, calling her such words is wrong.
”B word is a wrong one to use, you love her you joke but keep B word to your friends not your mother.” a fan wrote
Another person joked, ” This b mimi naeza vunjwa,” while another said ” No B words for mama baby. Would have been a nice content but for the B word. Take correction please.”
Others asked if that is how rich kids show love to their mothers.
” Ok! Is that how you show love in Kenya? The B word shook me,” one fan wrote
Another shockingly asked ” Ni mama ya mtu ameitwa b word?? I can’t even use that on my sister jameni.”
Other netizens, however, did not find an issue with that and only commented on how many times they got to visit their mothers in a year.
” Me seeing this and I haven’t talked to my mum for 2 weeks, woi,” another said.
Others admired their relationship as they wished to have the same bond with their mothers.
Akothee came to her daughter’s defense over the people who attacked her for using the slur word stating that people were taking things way to personal.
” You take life too personal that’s why” Akothee responded to a fan who criticized Vesha’s choice of words.

Akothee had gone to visit her daughter after complaining that she is lonely as her children just dump her in her mansion and don’t call or visit.
She decided to visit her daughter Vesha and stated she was not leaving her house anytime soon.
The lighthearted video was to show their bond but netizens were quick to realise that she called her mother the B word which earned her criticism.
