Tanzanian Bongo flavor artist Yusuf Kilungi alias Mbosso has left tongues wagging after he followed in his boss’s footsteps by launching a controversial stage entrance last night.
One hand on a cigarette, the other clutching on the yellow ”dera” which was a complete set inclusive of a matching headscarf, the musician made his dramatic stage entrance.
Seemingly excited by the artist’s fashion choice, the audience shouted at the top of their lungs when Mbosso hit the stage to perform his latest amapiano banger.
The consistent hitmaker slowly paved up and down the stage giving the fans time to take it all in before breaking out in an energetic dance.
Taking to his largely followed Instagram account, Mbosso shared a video which depicted the exact moment he hit the stage dressed in a female attire.
“Sele na Kijora cha shangazi yake..” he captioned to insinuate that the main character in his tune ”Sele” was wearing his aunt’s dress.

Minutes after the post, his fans flocked to the comment section poking fun at Mbosso’s choice of dressing while others complimented the artist insisting that he looked beautiful rocking the feminine outfit.
”Mimi nikivaa kijora sipendezi sele kavaa kimemkaa nyieeee,,, kweli sele ni sele tuu uliuwa aiseeee”
”WE SELE HAUJU KIJORA NA SIGARA KWA MKONO ILA MBOSSO”
”Selemani kawekeza tu pesa za Dera Na mishisha tu Na bado kaua show” the fans commented.
The ”Dera” in question is an affordable breathable dress that is popular among Swahili women and comes in various colors.
Mbosso’s latest stunt comes weeks after his boss Diamond Platnumz broke the internet for making a grand entrance in a coffin last month. This move received a lot of backlash from critics while fans argued that Simba was just being creative.
