Mulamwah

Comedian Mulamwah is intending to drag his baby Mama Carol Muthoni to court.

In a notice to Muthoni, which he shared online, Mulamwah, through his legal team, said he intends to Sue Muthoni for defamation and child abuse.

The notice is dated February 1, 2024, was referring to a video dated November 23, where Muthoni labeled Mulamwah a dead beat father.

“You have without cause continued to slander our client while simultaneously denying him access to the minor,” the notice read in part.

“Specifically, our client is troubled by statements made in your YouTube video ‘ASK ME ANYTHING RESPONSE UWEH’ broadcast on 29th November 2023. In the video, you implied that our client is a dead beat father and asserted that he neglected his parental duties.”

“You created false impression that has refused or declined to share the cost of raising the minor. This is despite your own acknowledgement that on several occasions our client has sent you money via M-pesa for upkeep which money you have reversed back to our client without offering reason,” the statement read.

The legal team further pointed out Muthoni’s decision to omit Mulamwah’s surname on the minor’s name without his consent. They added that Muthoni’s action have seen Mulamwah get bullied, ridiculed and receive threats of personal harm.

The lawyers have since issued Muthoni with three demands, failure to which a court process would be initiated.

Mulamwah is demanding his baby mama to retract all the defamatory statements and offer a public apology, which he says should be given the same prominence as the defamatory statements.

He also wants her to delete all videos of their daughter Keilah from her YouTube channel, which he says she is commercialising her on a channel that  she is using to propagate abusive and defamatory content.

Finally, Mulamwah is demanding Sonnie to share the current copy of Keilah’s birth certificate accompanied by the reason for the name change without his consent.

Sonnie has 10 days to comply.

At the same time, Mulamwah also shared a legal letter he wrote to Muthoni regarding Keilah’s parental responsibilities. The letter dated September 22 however was never responded to.
