Nanny Rosie has returned to her employer in Lebanon to continue with her house help duties.
This was revealed by her the employer on TikTok.
The employer shared videos with her family at the airport, where they had gone to welcome her back. The family warmly hugged her, expressing how they had missed her.
“Rosie is finally back,” she captioned one video and in another she said, “Treat her like a queen she will treat your babies as her own🥹 thank u Rosie”
Nanny Rosie, real name Roseline Atieno from Siaya County, got attention following her viral videos of her emotional farewell to her employer and their children back last year in December when she came for holidays.
The mother of two shared how she went to Lebanon in 2021 when her marriage was troubled.
“I decided to seek for greener pastures to provide for my three kids. I was apprehensive before going, but i prayed to God for a good family.” said Rossie. That’s when she met her Lebanese employer.
When Rosie shot to the limelight, many opportunities came her way. Vintmark Travel Agency director Catherine Joe offered Rossie a student sponsor-ship Canada Visa and a Ksh30,000 job as she waited for the Visa to be processed.
When Rosie’s Lebanese boss heard of the Canada opportunity, she endorsed it and urged her to go make money.
Kenyans have however expressed mixed reactions after Nanny Rossie chose to return to Lebanon instead.
