Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi, famously known as Grand Mullah has blasted Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen and Interior CS Prof. Kithure Kindiki over their recent activities at their respective departments.
According to Ahmedinasir, the government officials have been conducting duties meant for junior staffs in the ministries, at the expense of pressing matters that are affecting the country.
“When you have two senior cabinet secretaries storming offices and work stations of clerks in their ministries and addressing mundane issues of driver`s licenses, logbooks, police clearance certificates, passports etc. issues routinely handled by entry level clerks in the ministries. It is never the job of a minister to address these pressing but trivial issues of Wanjiku,” he shared on Twitter.
He added that their actions prove that the system is broken and Kenya is not delivering for the common man/woman.
“Ministers should ensure that the system works by ensuring that everyone in charge of the 15 levels between them and the clerks work. How can all the 15 levels fail in a ministry?” he said.

Last Friday, Murkomen made an impromptu visit to the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) offices and condemned the backlog of the digital number plates while CS Kindiki had made visits to Nyayo House a few weeks back where he addressed the issues of delays in passports.
