A guardian from Kisumu has  taken to Facebook to expose a female teacher who swindled her money meant for her son’s school fees.

The parent, under the name of Hurley Juma on Facebook, shared screenshots of the confirmation messages she received after sending the teacher Jael Osumba, money as well as their conversations, both audio and text. The teacher also confirmed to have received the money but she failed to submit it to the institution as expected.

“Jael Magero Osumba, please get back. Roney is out of school due to fee arrears, what happened to the money I sent you. Ichamo school fee nyathini why?” she demanded on her Facebook post.

Apparently, she send the school fees the same way in first term and there was no issue at all. She only discovered that she had been swindled after her son showed up  for personal items and pocket money

“After sending the 16,500 I learnt from Roney that Jael no longer worked at Onjiko,” “Juma said. “All in all Jael alipe pesa story mingi iishe mtoto arudi shule.”

“Jael your kids  are in school, why should Ronney miss his classes yet you have his fee pay the balance of 14,000.”

One of their recorded conversation  revealed the teacher’s evasiveness and contradictory statements, further raising the guardian’s suspicions.

The next day, in a fit of frustration and seeking justice, the guardian posted a detailed account of her findings on Facebook, urging other parents to come forward if they had similar experiences. The post quickly gained traction, and the small community was abuzz with shock and outrage.

The teacher, realizing the gravity of the situation and the potential damage to her reputation, reached out to the guardian, pleading for the post to be taken down.

She promised to rectify the situation and return the money. The guardian, however, insisted on justice,  refusing to remove the post from Facebook until proper action was taken by the school’s management.

As the scandal continued to unfold, the school board is set to launch a formal investigation, ensuring that the truth would come to light and justice would be served.

At the end of the conversation, the teacher agreed to review the case with the school principal as she requested the guardian to pull down the post from Facebook
