Kenyan activist Kasmuel McOure accuses ODM of reaping where they did not sow after four members from the party were nominated to CS positions by President Ruto.
Kasmuel asserts that Kenyan youths are the ones who have paid the price by being killed and arrested as they protested bad governance.
“They have reaped where they did not sow. We have paid the ultimate blood; it is our blood that has been shed,” McOure stated.
The activists reminded of the time a member from ODM was asking some of their colleagues not to involve themselves in the country’s demos.
“There was a time one of their active members saying tribally that Luo’s should step aside because this is not their fight. They have lost enough blood and that they should stay away from this fight,” he said.
However, Kasmuel reiterates that the demands of the Kenyan youths who were on the streets all time have not been met.
“We have gone on the streets and paid the ultimate price; we have lost lives and none of our demands have been met,” McOure mentioned.
Moreover, the activist explained what has happened with what they (Youths) have been fighting for contrary to what their demands were.
“We are dealing with a very narcissistic regime. The main aim of a narcissist is to look for a reaction. They came in at the right time and took all the spoils while had not even made the necessary advances. What we were asking for is not positions, we were asking them to follow the constitution to the later,” he detailed.
Kasmuel McOure has been on the forefront in voicing the anger and demands of the protestors who have been out on the streets for 5 weeks now.
He maintains that they will not give up on the fight despite being hijacked by selfish political parties.
