2022 presidential candidate Prof. George Lushiri Wajackoyah is among politicians who assembled in Rarieda for the requiem mass of 12 people who perished during Azimio’s nationwide protest.

The event was held at Bondo stadium, Siaya and Azimio leader  Raila Odinga  was in attendance.

While addressing the congregation, Wajackoya called out Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua accusing him of pursuing him romantically because he is always mentioning him in his speeches.

“Gachagua, wewe ndio umekalia hizi vifo hao ambao wamelala hapa, kuanzia leo Gachagua asilale, familia yake isilale mpaka wakufe wazikwe. Wamepitisha ile LGBTQ, Gachagua I am not gay. Kila siku anataja mimi,” the Roots party leader said.

He went ahead to demand the second in command to leave alone Narc party leader Martha Karua. Wajackoya noted that Karua is not Gachagua’s agemate

. “Gachagua awachane na Martha. Martha si rika yake. Martha is more beautiful than this man. ” he said.

At the same time, Wajackoya claimed that the former prime minister has superhuman abilities and is capable of transforming himself  whenever he faces danger

” When Baba is present here, don’t underestimate him. there’s a special way of looking at him. Baba is not a regular human being. they have tried shooting at Baba, but he turns into a nyangau; the officers run away; the officers run so far some haven’t returned to this day.” Wajakoyah claimed during the service.

He exited the stage by thanking Mama Ida. for taking good  care of Raila.

“Mama Ida asante mpaka Baba anakaa kijana.”
