Former Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee has opened on her plans to return to the music industry.
This is after a fan begged her to even release a gospel song so that she can relieve fans from the pain of not hearing her voice for so long.
“Vanessa Mdee hivi kwa mfano hata ukatuimbia nyimbo ya dini tupone ugonjwa wa kutoskia sauti yako kwa muda mrefu utapungukiwa nini Mama Seven,” the fan commented on a video that Vanessa had shared to promote Rotimi’s new song titled Bestie.
Replying to the comment, the mother of two said that it made her feel so bad. She however said that her fans will not wait for long before she makes a comeback.
“Jamani nimejiskia vibaya subiri japo kidogo tu,” she said.
The female voice in Rotimi’s new song made several of her fans to believe that she had been featured in the song.

It has however been years since Vanessa announced her exit in the music industry. In 2020, she shockingly revealed that she chose to leave because the industry was demonic.
“The reason why I have to leave the industry is that I needed to choose my life, the music industry is demonic. Now my fans are probably asking themselves right now ‘are you gonna never sing again? Are we never gonna see you perform?’ Let me reiterate. I love music, I love to create, and I love to perform. I’m a vessel,” she opened up during a podcast.
“This is what I was brought on earth to be, but maybe I was a vessel to be here in this moment to have gone through everything that I have gone through so that I can tell you most honestly the truth about things you will never hear somewhere else,” she further explained.
