Singer Jovial has taken to social media to call out producers who leaked songs that she is yet to release.
An angered Jovial noted that such actions compromises professionalism and maintained that they need to be confidential.
“Some producers learn to be professional. When you work with an artist let it be confidential. Stop leaking their unreleased songs without their consent. It is unprofessional na ni ushamba,” she said.
She added that she will stop being polite, and further warned the producers of consequences of their actions.
“Nitaacha kuwa mpole. Nitawatia ndani. Sipendi u****e mimi,” she further wrote.
Leaking an unreleased song without the artist or record label’s consent is illegal as it is a violation of copyright and intellectual property rights.

Jovial’s action to call out the producers has however sparked mixed reactions among her fans, some claiming that it is not such a big issue for her to unleash her anger like that.
“Wacha producer afanye kazi yake, wewe kazi ni kuimba,” a netizen commented.
Another said, “Sasa hio ni kitu ya kukasirikaia.”
“Kwani hio wimbo moja ndio imebeba nyota,” read a separate comment.
