Kebaso

Civic Educator and lawyer Morara Kebaso is seeking help from Kenyans to find a man believed to have deliberately caused an accident he was involved in.

Kebaso survived the accident that occurred  at Kivwe in Embu town on Sunday. He shared a photo of the man who fled the scene, leaving his wrecked car. Apparently, the same person appeared to have attended Kebaso’s function earlier.

“Guys I need help finding this guy. In the confusion he has slipped away and left his wrecked car. I just want to confirm that his escape is out of genuine fear. I dont want to overthink. Kama ako genuine akuje tumalize hii story. Accidents happen. Ni hali ya maisha. But akitoroka it starts looking like something else,” he said.

In a separate statement, Kebaso said that soon after the accident, he left the scene in a separate car to avert more tragedy.

“Sometimes accidents are used to cause confusion so that the real thing can happen. I don’t want to blame anyone without evidence but now i know am on a clock. I have too many enemies to start guessing who can do it. The government officials that we have exposed, the opposition that feels we are taking their space, rising tribal chiefs that feel like our message might dilute their influence, presidential candidates who think i will run against them, contractors who have been paid money and disappeared, sympathetics of the corrupt,” he said.

He added that he will enhance his security from now onwards , as well as avoid meetings that go into the night.

“I am grateful to be alive. And i believe its for a reason but also for a season because one day i will still die,” Kebaso said.
