Singer Akothee is celebrating the birthday of her lastborn daughter Fancy Makadia, whose real name is Prudence Vanpelt Brina.

In her birthday message, the mother of five recalled how Fancy suffered when she allowed her to refer to her first mzungu baby daddy as dad.

According to her the move only brought pain and suffering to them.

“To the woman I have lived to prove that there is more to life than what is thrown at us. To those who denied you a chance to call them dad , they should come and see you now . Mommy, I have never forgotten how many times you would ask me if its okay to call papa Ojwang dad. Then I said its Okay , wee that’s the day I regretted hurting you,” she recounted.

Akothee added that she has never forgiven herself for letting Fancy go through that. Her second mzungu baby daddy came into the picture and that was a relieve to her daughter.

“I have never forgiven myself for misleading you to call a man who didn’t give birth to you dad . Ile majibu tulipata ,threw us both into some PAIN. until papa Oyoo came into the picture and you had a real dad. I didn’t know a child can miss something if not someone to call daddy,” she said.

Akothee however asked her daughter to give her children her best, and went ahead to thank her for making her proud by completing her studies.

In a previous statement, Akothee revealed that Fancy stopped seeing her biological father at the age of four years.
