Trisha Khalid, an actress on Citizen TV’s drama series Becky has shut down turned down rumours that she was romantically involved with former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.
Trisha, whose real name is Fosi Mpole Hamis, in an interview with a local publication said that she was equally surprised by the claims that she was Joho’s side dish.
The curvaceous actress, wondered how she had been linked with Joho without irrefutable evidence that they had an affair.
“One of the weirdest rumour I ever heard about me was that I was dating former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, To this day I have never understood how someone would just sit and come up with such untrue stories even without bothering to verify. That honestly shocked me,” she said
The young actress argued that it would not be a problem to date him but they have never had anything between them.
She also revealed that she was disgusted being referred to as “Socialite” which she perceives as an offensive label.
“I honestly hate it when people call me a socialite because I’m not. I have never given anybody a reason to refer to me as a socialite. I work. I’m an actress , I own a spa and run a boutique as well. All I do is work , how then I’m a socialite.” she said.
With her captivating presence and striking looks, Trisha, despite describing herself as an introvert, found herself naturally drawn into the world of modelling.
This saw her gracing the runways of various fashion events, featuring in high-profile ad campaigns and mingling with renowned fashion designers.
Prior to her fame, she used to do funny skits on TikTok. She went viral over a Tafuta mtu akushike TikTok skit when she sent her followers into a frenzy with her trademark ‘nyash’.
However, contrary to popular belief, including being accused of undergoing plastic surgery, Trisha insists she is natural.
