Lupita Nyong’o is celebrating her pet cat’s third birthday and she shared her joy with her followers.
Taking to Instagram, the Kenyan actress shared photos of how the celebrations went down. There were decorations and flowers as she posed for photos with her cat named Yoyo. In one of the photos, the cat even had the birthday cap on it’s head, and one could think it was aware of what was going on.
“Go Yoyo. It’s your birthday. Please join me in wishing him a very happy 3rd birthday! #Yoyoyoyyo #childlesscatlady,” Lupita said.

One of the netizens identified as Emmanuel Odhis seemingly wanted to gift the cat through mobile money.
“What’s his Mpesa,” he posed.
Another, named Jaya, another cat lover celebrated Yoyo. ” Happy birthday Yoyo! Me an my cat Jett will be celebrating but currentlky he’s passed out listening to Billy Joel’s stanger so when he’s awake, we’ll celebrate.”
