Socialite Huddah Monroe has admitted that she has started getting used to Vybz Kartel’s new look.
The Jamaican dance hall sensation was released from after 13 years due to his deteriorating health.
Vybz is suffering from graves disease that has made his face swollen.
Taking to social media, Huddah said that she still loves the dancehall icon.
“I’m now starting to get used to Vybz Kartel’s head. Vybz Kartel is my life, and when you love someone, you just love them no matter what. He can do no wrong,” the socialite said.
According to her Vybez Kartel has never had good looks even before he was jailed and only his music was good. Huddah likened Kartel’s past look to Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, who recently salivated over her.
“Teacher! He never really had a good look anyway; he used to look like Salasya in those hustling days. Back then, he was dark-skinned and poor. We must love Vybz as he is now; the guy was never handsome, it’s just his good music that you can’t separate from him,” she said,” Huddah said.
Recently, while speaking about his condition, Kartel shared some of the measures being taken to manage it.
“Healthwise, you know, I’m working on my health right now, but being free is a fantastic feeling. I could be better, but I’m super upbeat. I have appointments with my doctor on Monday so that I can have regular meetings with her, and she can keep track of me in real-time.
“She even mentioned that she’s going to… put me on a special diet so she can monitor me every day, which is a far cry from when you’re in prison. I’ve hit the ground running,” the 48-year old said.
