Ruto

President William Ruto has left Kenyans in stitches in the manner which he shut a person blowing a trumpet, while he was addressing residents of Mbeere North in Embu County.

Ruto was speaking on development agenda as the crowd quietly listened when the excited resident blew the vuvuzela.

The head of state however did not think twice about cutting the person short. According to him, it was not yet time to go to heaven

“Wewe mtu ya tarumbeta  ngojea hatuendi mbinguni sahi. Bado tuko area. Mbinguni ni baadaye, tarumbeta tuliambiwa itapigwa siku ya kuenda mbinguni sasa yeye angonjee kidogo,” he said.

He immediately resumed his speech saying that he had toured the area because of developm, ent projects.

Meanwhile, President Ruto has resumed his international trips, the first being to Rwanda, for the swearing in of president Paul Kagame. This was his first ever international trip since the nationwide anti-government protests began in June.

“Congratulations to my brother President @PaulKagame for being sworn in for another term to continue transforming your country Rwanda. In the past 30 years, the people of Rwanda have risen from the devastating ashes of the 1994 genocide and undergone tremendous progress in political, democratic and economic spheres.

“Rwanda is also a valuable member of the East African Community, the African Union and the international community.Attended the inauguration of President Kagame at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda,” the head of state shared online.
