Yvette Obura has come out guns blazing to defend her daughter with Bahati, Mueni, against trolls.
Mueni has been trolled because of dressing in baggy outfits, especially during her recent performance in her school. Mueni captured hearts as she sang along her father’s song Lala Amka while donning a red jacket, pair of red pants and a white crop top, but her dressing attracting negative comments.
Yvette did not take the negativity lying down, as she revealed her strictness when it comes to ensuring her daughter is decently dressed.
“Mimi sivalishangi mtoto wangu crop top. She knows, any revealing clothe mtoto wangu havai, akiwa mkubwa akitaka avae good for her. Hata nikimvalisha nguo inamfinya tumbo I always make sure to cover her up. I don’t want to bring up my child in a way she feels it’s okay for you to underdress. Yvette added that she wouldn’t keep quiet when troll go after her daughter.

Following Mueni’s performance, Bahati got emotional revbealing that it was a surprise to him.
“Today I got emotional. My daughter surprised me with a first time musical performance bduring their schools Talenya and Career Day. I am proud to be called your daddy Mueni Bahati,” he wrote on Instagram, accompanied by Mueni’s video.
