Controversial Kenyan TikToker Nyako is frustrated by fellow TikTokers who have made the platform their primary source of income.

Nyako, on a live TikTok criticized them saying they are not disabled and that they like other people should go to work.

“It is high time Kenyans you wake up from this bullshit called TikTok and go to work. TikTok was just meant for fun but slowly by slowly I am watching people making TikTok a platform for their income. And the people supporting this bullshit don’t even realize what they are doing,” she stated.

She reflected the fact that TikTokers misuse their followers for their benefit when the followers themselves get nothing.

“Imagine wewe una support mtu alipe rent, alipe school fees, alipe everything na wewe hauna chochote, why don’t you say no to this bullshit. This people they don’t tell you that they are using you, and you will never even realize that they are using you. The things that you are supporting on TikTok that are not even worth it,” Nyako reflected.

“Why should you send Baba Talisha a lion? Why should you send Mary Linda a lion? For what! They should go to work, hio lion tumia mamako nyumbani. Why are you sending this lazy people your money, for what? And they are not even grateful, game imeisha leo, they have scheduled another one. Within two days, Mary Linda is back like somebody who never received nothing! ungrateful TikTokers using…you why..” she went on

The famous TikToker questioned the action of people gifting Baba Talisha and Mary Linda for their content saying they are lazy. She added that they never appreciate their fans for what they earn through them.

Nyako urged Kenyans to view the bigger picture and stop funding other people’s luxurious lives who are not even grateful. She reiterated that TikTok was made for fun and not for making money.

“Wake up Kenyans, wake up! Ambieni Mary Linda astop hio ujinga, na Baba Talisha plus. Am not happy, hata afadhali mitumba man, one million times, support mitumba man hao wengine waende kazini… TikTok was just made for fun. TikTok was not made for making money,” she added.
