Self Proclaimed president of comedy in Africa Eric Omondi has widened his demonstration score and he has decided to lead his demonstrations against the high cost of living in his hometown Kisumu.
Dressed in a graduation gown, Omondi transversed the streets of Kisumu on Wednesday, 26 April backed by a number of youths who carried placards, banners and mattresses.
The youths had banners with massages pointing out the rising cost of tertiary education, the non – disbursed Helb funds, Unemployment together with the ever rising cost of living.
In the demonstrations he crowd is seen taking break and sleeping on the mattresses as they decried the high state of living.
Despite carrying out similar demonstrations and getting arrested in Nairobi, Eric Omondi has maintained that he will not back down in fighting for an ordinary Kenyan whose life is now unbearable due to the country’s poor economy.
H once again defended his position as a humanitarian noting that he is not a politician and neither is he being funded by one.
