Beyoncé has announced a 43- date world tour in support of her critically-acclaimed Renaissance album, including five nights in the UK.

The Grammy award winning singer and song writer took to her Instagram page to announce her ”Renaissance tour” which will kick off in Sweden on 10 May 2023 at Stockholm’s Friends Arena.

Further UK dates will take place in Edinburgh on 20 may, Sunderland on 23 May and London’s Tottenham hotspur on 29 and 30 May.

Ticket demand is expected to be huge since it will Beyonce’s first solo tour since 2016.

The renaissance world tour supports Beyoncé’s 2022 album of the same name. Widely hailed as a career-best, the album was acclaimed for its pivot to club styles such as house and disco, as well as for accredits list that highlighted LGBTQ and black pioneers.

The album was voted as the best album in 2022 and also debuted at No 1 on the UKand US charts, and has been certified gold in the UK

Beyonce sparked talks of a possible tour after she performed an invite only show in January in Dubai at the Atlantis The Royal Resort where she was reportedly paid $24m but faced criticism for performing in a country where homosexuality and gender reassignment are outlawed.

Ticketmaster said in a release that sales will begin Feb. 6 and fans will need to register through their Verified Fan system.
