Three people have been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of a 59 year old woman whose body was found dumped a few meters away from her lovers home.

The suspects who were accused of being accomplices in the deceased assault and later death were rescued from an angry mob that was desperate to lynch them in Ikolomani.

They were later arrested and taken to police custody to Malinya Police Station where they await their trial.

According to preliminary investigations which was also backed by  former Ikolomani Mp Bonnie Khalwale the lady was apparently sexually assaulted before her life was brutally taken away.

“The woman has been raped and later she was murdered. We have managed to capture all the three suspects who were involved in her untimely demise and one of them has already confessed  to his involvement in the crime,” Khalwale stated.

One of the suspects who  confessed to dumping the lifeless body of the deceased during the police interrogation on the pathway where it was discovered denied being involved in her murder.

He said Esther passed out while they were making out a statement which the relative’s victim strongly objected.

“My mother always minded her businesses and never stepped in anyone’s toe, she was always struggling to make ends meets,” Fredrik Wanyonyi, son to the deceased said.

Her family said that their mother was a hairdresser was in a stable health before her untimely death.

The deceased family seeks justice from the incident and demands all the suspects involved to be brought to books.
